Days 1 & 2: Delhi to Mandawa (Shekhawati Region)
Depart Delhi early morning toward the semi-arid Shekhawati region, renowned as India’s "open-air art gallery." Prosperous Marwari merchants in the 18th and 19th centuries built monumental havelis covered from foundation to rooftop in exquisite hand-painted frescoes depicting mythological epics, colonial trains, and royal pageantry. Day 3: Mandawa to Bikaner
Drive west across the arid scrublands to Bikaner. Tour the formidable Junagarh Fort, one of the rare fortresses in Rajasthan built on plains rather than a hilltop, housing pristine gold-leaf painted coronation halls. Visit the National Research Centre on Camel to taste fresh camel-milk kulfi.
Days 4 & 5: Golden Jaisalmer & the Thar Desert

Days 8 & 9: Ranakpur Marble Temple to Udaipur
The drive from Jodhpur to Udaipur ascends into the ancient Aravalli Hills.
